Hi, I'm Missy. I've spent nearly 30 years walking alongside people through life's hardest (and most meaningful) moments. I work with adults of all ages—whether you're just figuring out who you are or navigating a big life shift like divorce, empty nesting, retirement, or a financial curveball you didn't see coming. I have a special place in my heart for women healing from toxic relationships, couples trying to find their way back to each other, and hardworking professionals teetering on the edge of burnout (or already well past it—zero shame, I promise). Therapy with me is warm, real and collaborative. Healing happens in safe, supportive spaces—where you can exhale, be heard, and begin to move forward without pressure or pretense. We'll go deep when we need to, but we'll also laugh, breathe, and keep it human. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to show up as you. When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me spending time with my two amazing adult kids and my incredible mom. I love cooking, getting lost in a good book, hiking wooded trails, and enjoying all four Minnesota seasons (yes, even the cold one… most of the time). I'm not afraid to tell people that I hug trees and I am trying desperately to figure out how to save all the animals ;) If life feels heavy or confusing right now—or even just a little "off"—I'm here for that. You don't have to do it alone.

LICSW

Hi, I'm Michael Meyer. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and for nearly 20 years, I've been helping people navigate life's challenges by focusing on their strengths and building genuine, down-to-earth connections. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I've spent much of my career supporting both youth and adults through struggles with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, Autism Spectrum traits, and other concerns that impact emotional, physical, and mental well-being. In sessions, I draw from a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which continues to inspire me with its power to create lasting change. I believe that feeling truly seen and supported is a big part of healing, so I bring compassion, curiosity, and a good dose of humor into the therapy room. When I'm not working, I'm probably spending time with my family (and our dog, Clover), out fishing, hiking, or foraging for mushrooms. I'm also a bit of a sports nerd and love playing armchair GM with my favorite teams. If you think we might be a good fit, I'd love to connect.

LPCC

Hi, I'm Ryan. I've spent over 20 years in the helping professions, and during that time, I've learned that real change often starts when we pause, reflect, and begin asking different questions—sometimes the kind that don't fit neatly inside the box. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating that familiar feeling of being stuck. My approach is creative, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I'm always learning and evolving, seeking the right balance between proven techniques and personalized care that actually fits your life. My academic background began at the University of Minnesota, where I focused on race relations, equity studies, and social work. I later completed my clinical training in counseling and marriage and family therapy at the Adler Graduate School. In 2013, my work on OCD was published online, offering fresh clinical perspectives and some outside-the-box ideas that hadn't been widely explored before. If you're looking for a therapist who's empathic, engaged, and ready to help you reconnect with meaning and movement in your life—let's talk. I'd be honored to support in your healing process.

We all go through times when life feels a bit too heavy to handle on our own and that's okay. Sometimes, we need someone to walk with us, to help us sort through what's going on, and to figure out what we need to feel a little more grounded. That's where I come in. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I truly believe you know yourself best. My job is to help you explore what's working, what's not, and what might help you feel more like yourself again. I'm trained in EMDR, which can be really helpful for processing trauma, attachment wounds, or difficult experiences that seem to stick around no matter how hard you try to move past them. I also like to bring in tools from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and mindfulness to support people feeling anxious, stuck, or just weighed down by life. I enjoy working with new and expecting parents navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and all the changes that come with that chapter can be overwhelming, and you don't have to do it alone. I try to tailor our work together to what you need most, whether that's learning new coping strategies, diving into past experiences, or just having a safe space to talk things through. I always aim to leave you with something practical and useful after each session, something you can take into your day-to-day life. If any of this sounds like it might be a fit, I'd love to hear from you. Reaching out is a brave first step, and I'd be honored to be a part of your journey.

Relational Psychotherapy

LICSW

Hi, I'm Kat. Life has a way of throwing curveballs when we least expect them, and I've learned that healing happens best when we meet those moments with both courage and compassion. My work focuses on stress, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions—because these are the threads that weave through so many of our stories. I work with young adults, seasoned individuals, and couples, bringing eight years of experience as a hospice social worker where I've witnessed the profound beauty and complexity of grief, illness-related stress, and medical trauma. This work has given me deep reverence for life's fragility and an unwavering passion for walking alongside people through their darkest and most transformative moments. My background as a firefighter/EMT, sexual assault hospital advocate, and domestic violence advocate has shaped how I understand trauma and resilience. My years as an advocate have taught me the importance of standing with those whose voices are often silenced or dismissed. I have specialized training in supporting first responders and anyone experiencing mental health stress injuries. I know what it's like to see humanity at its most vulnerable, and I understand that healing isn't linear—it's messy, brave, and deeply personal. I believe fiercely in the power of showing up as your authentic self. In my practice, I come to sessions as my genuine (and sometimes sweary) self because I've learned that healing begins when we stop pretending and start being real. Every person's path to wellness is unique, and there's no "right" way to do this work. Whether you're grappling with fresh grief, old wounds, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck in life, I'd be honored to walk alongside you exactly where and how you are.

Licensed Psychologist

MS

Hi, I'm Bryn. I'm a Licensed Psychologist with a focus on mind-body and energy-based healing. My approach is integrative—I combine traditional work with intuitive insight, mindfulness, somatic practices, breathwork, and energy healing to help you get to the root of what's keeping you stuck, and support your system in releasing it. Many of my clients find that this work creates deeper and faster shifts than traditional talk therapy alone. One of the tools I often use is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as Tapping. It involves gently tapping on acupressure points while bringing awareness to a specific concern—whether it's emotional, physical, or energetic. EFT can help access the unconscious mind, discover what's beneath the symptoms, and support lasting release. It's especially effective when working with younger parts of the self and long-standing patterns. While I work with a wide range of concerns, my specialties include life transitions, anxiety, grief, eating and body-related struggles, physical conditions and pain, trauma (both big and small), negative thought patterns, and relationship challenges. I also love working with highly sensitive people, empaths, and those who work in helping or healing professions. I offer two types of sessions: -- 50-minute sessions (insurance-eligible) -- 90-minute deep-dive sessions (private pay only) for those ready to work at a deeper level. Outside of sessions, you'll usually find me outdoors—biking, hiking, or spending quiet time in the woods or by the water. I also love to travel and explore other cultures. If you're curious whether we'd be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute consultation.

Individual & Relational Therapy, Sex Therapist

MA, LMFT

Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task. However, there is good news! As the saying goes… "We can't pick our family, but we can pick our therapist." I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating identity, life transitions, creative careers, relationships, sexuality, and the things that don't quite fit in neat boxes. I often support people working through burnout, career uncertainty (especially in the arts), and the stress of living between worlds. As a sex therapist, I also help clients explore desire, intimacy, pain, gender and sexual identity, and nontraditional relationship structures. Basically, we talk about the things you're told never to bring up at dinner—money, politics, religion, and sex. My approach is shaped by my own mixed cultural and religious upbringing—I'm someone who eats latkes while hanging stockings—so I have a soft spot for people who live in the "both/and." I especially enjoy working with multicultural and interfaith couples, navigating big-picture values and everyday decisions (like whether we serve the in-laws a Midwestern hot dish or matzo ball soup). In relationship counseling, I help partners feel heard and respected while we figure out what healing looks like—whether that means growing closer, redefining the relationship, or parting ways with care. I work with LGBTQIA+ and poly-identified clients and am especially committed to supporting those healing from Adverse Religious Experiences (ARE)—including spiritual abuse, purity culture, and conversion "therapy," a practice that remains legal in too many places despite being widely discredited and condemned. When I'm not in therapist mode, I'm living the artist hustle: rehearsals, grant writing, & occasionally, applause. My other profession as a choreographer and performing artist deeply informs my clinical work. I understand the vulnerability, pressure, and identity shifts that come with creative professions. I work with artists who are burnt out, grieving missed opportunities, and recalibrating after a life event (like injury). As someone who lives with chronic pain from dance injuries, I bring a deep respect for the reality of pain—your experience is real, and I'll never dismiss it as "just in your head." I often integrate movement and somatic practices into therapy, especially when words feel limiting—because sometimes the body says what the brain can't. Therapy with me is curious, collaborative, and sometimes even a little funny. If we're a good fit, I'd love to work with you—and if not, I'm happy to help you find someone who is.

MA,LPCC

Hi! I'm Charlotte :) I've spent over 15 years in the helping professions, and I truly love being part of the behind-the-scenes magic that helps people feel supported and cared for. I'm a Licensed Clinical Counselor, and throughout my career, I've worked in leadership and coordination roles, as well as directly with clients. What's stayed constant is my passion for making a positive impact in people's lives—especially during times of transition or healing. Here, I'm often the first point of contact for new clients, and it's so important to me that everyone feels welcomed, heard, and at ease from the very start. When I'm not working, I'm usually chasing around my two wild and wonderful kiddos, hanging out with our big lovable dog, Moose, or spending time with my husband, Ryan. Nature is my happy place, so I recharge by camping, running, and being outside as much as possible. I'm so glad you're here!

Therapist

MSW, LGSW

Hi, I'm Catelin — therapist, human, and fellow work-in-progress. I believe therapy works best when it feels real. I show up as my full self: honest, compassionate, sometimes a little irreverent, sometimes laughing — always committed. I'm not here to pretend I've got it all figured out, but I do have the training, tools, and experience to walk with you through the messy, meaningful work of healing and growth. I work alongside teens and adults to figure out what actually works for you, not just what's "supposed" to. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care. Together, we'll get curious about the patterns that keep you stuck, the stories you're ready to rewrite, and the values that can guide you forward. Therapy with me is a space where you don't have to filter, shrink, or apologize—you can show up exactly as you are. We'll do the deep work, but we'll also make space for humor, honesty, and the small wins along the way. If that sounds like the kind of support you've been looking for, I'd be honored to connect.

Marriage and Family Therapy

MA

Hi, I'm Danielle — therapist, relationship nerd, and someone who's trying (and mostly failing) to keep her houseplants alive.

Let's be real: life is messy, relationships are complicated, and trying to keep it all together while also being a functioning human? That's a lot.

Therapy is a space where we don't have to pretend everything's fine—we can sit with the real stuff, the awkward stuff, the "is this normal?" stuff and figure it out together. Whether you're coming in with something specific or just a general sense that something feels off, we'll work together to understand what's going on and what meaningful change could look like for you. I aim to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and welcoming, with plenty of room for growth, and some humor sprinkled in along the way.

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for sex and relationship therapy and love helping people explore topics like intimacy, desire, communication, postpartum changes, and feeling more at home in themselves and their relationships. My approach is holistic and grounded in the belief that our emotional and physical experiences are deeply connected. I often incorporate the mind-body connection into our work—tuning into how emotions show up in the body, exploring nervous system regulation, or helping you reconnect with parts of yourself that may feel out of sync. My work draws from evidence-based models including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Adlerian theory.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures. Your full self is welcome here. When I'm not in therapist mode, you can usually find me outside enjoying nature, curled up with a good book, planning my next travel adventure, or spending time with my family (and yes, probably still trying to keep my houseplants alive). I offer a free 30-minute consultation so you can get a feel for what working together might be like. If you're ready to start untangling what's been feeling heavy, I'd love to meet you.

My clients' goals usually include an increased feeling of security/safety, community integration, & relationship or interpersonal effectiveness. People deserve to feel heard, validated, and encouraged. I provide client-centered and solution-focused approaches; utilizing Harm Reduction, DBT skills, or CBT where appropriate. I specialize in serving adults and elders, and I have 4-5 years experience serving children and adolescents. I offer telehealth services for Minnesota residents, and in-person mental health therapy at the Lakewalk Center, Duluth MN.
